Another post from the lake. The sailor took the sail down right after I shot this picture. In fact, I didn't realize it because they were so far away, but I was snapping pictures of them taking the sail down. I used zoom so they didn't see me. My nephew that skis wants to get a sailboat. Not water skis, snow skis. Silly word - skis.
I went to a meeting today at my daughter's school. Her class goes to Washington D.C. this school year. It sounds so exciting. I was thinking about chaperoning. They put a damper on that. No parents allowed. Teachers chaperone. Phooey. I went when I was 10. In 1970.
I used to get the Biography magazine. Actually, I still get it - it is free now. You have to join their club and answer some surveys. But the magazine is pretty awesome. I still like to read books and magazines. I can't stand to read for long periods of time online. The fall issue that I just received is a gold mine for my teenagers. There is Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Mary Kate and Ashley in the issue. I may never get it back from my daughter.
Do you like free software? Check out Tucows.com. Just make sure you scan it for virus and spyware. Most files are zipped, so you will need winzip to un-compress it, etc... One of my old favorites is DaysEase. Google it.
