Anyway, this is the tent before the party on Saturday. The weather remained beautiful, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was superb and the guests were a gathering of my absolute favorite people. (Outside of blogdom, of course.) I cannot recall a finer party. Of course, the tent ruined it for me. From now on, every party that I have, I 'll be thinking I need a big green and white tent in the yard.

My nephew and his friends setup the sound system. They added stereo surround sound speakers to the corners of the tent and added blue Christmas lights all around. They also added my white, round patio lights. I have been wanting those babies up for three years! A big thank-you to my nephew!

The food, my God the food was fantastic! A big thank-you to my (I hate saying ex sister-in-law, so I will just say) good friend and my niece for the fixings.
And, also a thank-you to her for the extra decorations. Just so happens that her son's (my nephew) school colors were the same as my niece's. Two different schools.

Okay, so we have sounds, food and atmosphere (lights). Good weather. What could go wrong? Nothing. Nothing went wrong. The only problem I ran into, was I did not purchase enough diet soda. No big deal. Around nine o'clock the underage people left and then the loud and noisy bunch began. We went until three a.m. I tried (unsuccessfully, I might add) to keep the music down.
