It was quiet and still at the top of the hill where I snapped the sunset through the pines. I missed most of it. I managed to squeeze in a couple of good shots between the thick pine trees.
Down over the hill was our beautiful town park in all of its adventurous glory. Young and old alike eating cotton candy and ice cream. A Ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, a small train, miniature golf and many playgrounds awaited children eagerly burning up all of that sugary energy.
Yeah. I took pictures of them, too. I'll save those for another day.

Yeah, after re-reading it, I guess it does. The atmosphere must have put me in the mood.
