We ordered pizza tonight. I asked them when I called. Can your driver make change for a fifty? That was all I had. Yes, they can. I went downstairs for 30 seconds - 30 seconds to get clothes out of the dryer. My 13-year old daughter paid the pizza man. She gave him the 50 thinking it was a 20; he said thanks and away he went.
I come upstairs, see the pizza and I say, "where's my change?" My daughter gave me a blank look. I was horrified, or course. I called the pizza place immediately. I told them what happened and they said they would get hold of the driver and we would get our change.
He brought the change about 20 minutes later. Whew. That was a close one.
