The Hollies had a song out, about 1972 called "The Long Dark Road". It was somebodies 45 in my household. It was played a lot. It haunts me sometimes.
My sister's cat died today. They had the cat since February 1988. When she sent me the photo, which I put on my web page, I was thinking "Where was I in February of 1988? Another lifetime ago. Long, dark roads.
I finished the book "Don't Leave Me This Way". It appears that the cold medicine she took a few moments before her stroke, may have been the culprit. That was 1997. They FDA didn't pull the drug off the shelves until 2000. (I think). Phenylpropanolamine.
