4th grade. 1969-70. I have no idea who fixed my hair. We did have running water by this time so I am glad to say my hair, my clothes and I were clean. Yay! (The house we moved into in 1966 had a well/cistern and we had very little available water until an older sibling paid for a new well to be dug in 1968).
There is a reason for all the old photographs. Sister 1954 got into a scanning old pictures frenzy and has posted hundreds to her facebook account. She had an accident on her motorized bicycle and now is down to using one arm. I wonder if that will slow her down any?
