Most of my daughter's friends have braces or a retainer. Why not have perfect teeth? My daughter only needs to wear a retainer at this time, I think we escaped the braces. Her friends above have braces, my daughter is not wearing her retainer.
The girls spent Friday night here and carried on. When they karaoke, I sneak my recorder outside my bedroom door and record them. They yell at me, but when they get over it, they play the recording back in fast motion so that they sound like the chipmunks.
I am listening to Burl Ives "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" plus many more holiday songs. I have separated them into jolly and melancholy. Hah! I am still a poet, don't ya know it! Oh, that is my Mom in me.
My bird may not live until Christmas. She is healthy as ever, it is just that no one is giving her any attention (busy, busy) and she is so annoying right now. Chirp, chirp loudly. "Shut up!" Then, I feel bad, take her out of the cage and feed her all my Christmas shopping receipts. She is very particular about her receipts. She shakes her head if she takes a bit of one of the shiny store receipts. She likes the dull paper ones, similar to newspaper.
I have tried to get her to eat all kinds of foods and treats. She will have nothing to do with them. Give her plain cockatiel seed and cereal. Oh, and mullet spray. When I give her a sprig, the little seed shells just go flying as she eats away.
