A d-fly
Dragon or damsel, I am not certain. I almost didn't see the flying insect while taking pictures of the lake yesterday. It stayed around until I got bored with photographing it. The sun was intense.

Good shot. These are so odd the are hard to get a good focus.
Damsel's set with wings back...Dragons set with wings out. Or so I've been told.
Yes, they are almost constantly moving or buzzing along. Hard to capture indeed.
I read that the damsels keep their wings close to their body, but I wasn't completely sure. I love the blue tip on the end.
