Carroll County cowsHow long will I be able to drive along the quiet country roads and take pictures of cows in a green grassy field? Three of my sisters married into farming families. All three farms have been sold. No longer are they growing crops, raising cattle, baling hay, or anything else. The sons didn't continue the family tradition. Two went to the steel mills and one is driving a truck. Farming is hard work and the way things are today, there is no money in it.

This is such a great tragedy in America. As the big agri-industrial complex raise the high value crops and small farmers are pushed into early retirement our food security gets weaker and weaker. This same issue is true with seafood.
