Good grief it looks as if we are burning one of the chairs in this photo. Not at all. The chair was safe on the other side of the fire. This is the camp fire we build when I go to visit friends near the lake at the campsite.
It was a beautiful day (August 27th) and a lovely evening.

Yes, the chair looks safe -- but I also notice that nobody is sitting in it. There's a famous maxim that says, "If you can't stand then heat get out of the chair."
Or maybe it was kitchen.
Nice fire. Makes me 'almost' wish fall was here.
