My swinging paternal grandmother and aunt sitting on their front porch. Circa 1943.Been scanning a lot of old family album pictures in an effort to get ready for the reunion.
It is amazing. I have looked at this album a hundred times and I don't recall most of the pictures. Until you carefully take each one out and scan it (spend some time with it) you don't really take them all in.
I recommend this activity for everybody.

There is something magically about old pictures - especially now with digital cameras.
