The movie, that is. "The Interview". Why did I watch it? I caved to the propaganda. The only part I enjoyed was the puppy (similar shown above) near the end of the movie and the beginning with Eminem. He played his part so dead pan.
Between the beginning and the end, I was reminded why I do not care for S Rogen films. I paid nothing for the film, so at least I did not have that loss.
Christmas eve found us traveling in a hellacious rain storm. At one point, I just could not see. Fortunately for me, I had a car ahead of me (follow the red tail lights) and the vehicle behind me backed off so I did not feel as if I were being "pushed".
We passed no less than four vehicles pulled over, and two serious-looking accidents. A Merry Christmas was NOT had by all.
I hinted to this group that we planned on skipping next year. I hope I can stick to my guns and follow through. Years ago when my sister was incarcerated, I had her two children at my house for Chistmas every year. Now, she is out - they are both married and have children of their own - they have plenty in their family and I feel that it is time to just return to mine. I travel to them now, because it is just the three of us. I hope they understand. Maybe they will be just as relieved.
Anyway, take the security off of Franco and Rogen. I don't think anybody wants to hurt them except for perhaps Katy Perry for ruining her song "Firework".

I promised that I would see it just for the freedom of speech aspect. I am NOT a person who goes to 'stoner' films or enjoys watching slackers make fun of important issues. My suggestion is, if the weather is fine go, if not, stay home!!!
I'll pass on the movie. I was never a fan of his films. I am glad they are showing it however.
Sorry you had such a scary trip and just glad you made it safely. Next year is another year.
It's not something i'll make an effort to see, although i can imagine the kids will have it streaming here sooner or later and i'll be forced to at least hear it in the background.
Perhaps there would be a better time to get together with that side of the family. It can be the holidays any time everyone has time to see each other.
Regarding your question it is a Canon G16 replacing my G9. Hopefully I will take better care of it. I already bought a tiny plastic filter that covers the lense even after retraction...so maybe that will be the thing that takes the brunt of my scrambles.
I didn't see it; didn't plan to. I didn't/don't know who "his" is, but it doesn't matter. wouldn't have changed anything.
Well, that puppy alone had to make the movie worth it. ;) I love King Charles Spaniels. They are one of my favs. So sweet.
I don't have any desire to see the movie. I've enjoyed a few of Rogan's movies in the past but I think I have to be in the right (dumb) mood. ;)
So glad you made it through the storm safely. Yikes!
I agree with Tabor. If the weather is fine, make the trip, otherwise you have a great excuse. ;)
