I am in need of some color in my life. The outside is so drab with all the browns, yellows and grays. Yuck! I have no flowers blooming. I will have to use artificial color, I guess.
It was a difficult work week. I had some setbacks. I am trying not to panic because I have some serious deadlines coming up and I have been running around trying to fix emergencies so I have not had proper time to prepare for the upcoming events.
Sigh. I am missing my sister who is staying with my brother these days. She is trying to start working but still be close to her granddaughter. I can understand that. She and her son are looking at renting a house almost next door to her little granddaughter.
I had some family time Tuesday. My S-I-L has to give herself (or my brother does) two shots in the gut a day for blood thinners. This is to prevent blood clots. The next step in the cancer phase is for them to go back in and look at the liver.
The one doctor that removed the tumor from her stomach said she did peek at the liver while she was in there and the side that she could see looked good and healthy.
Life is kind of getting me down right now.

My dear blogger friend I want to send you a bowl of colorful flowers and a sky of colorful sunsets and a room of colorful music. So sorry for this difficult time that you and your love ones are facing. When my sister got cancer I was so angry at how unfair it all seemed. Keeping my hopes up.
Good news that your S-I-L has a healthy liver especially after a tumor and all those meds. Wishing you flowers, maybe a colorful poster to cheer your heart. I was an IT person the last half of my career and I know it can be crazy with both the software, the schedules, and the (ab)users. Many hugs to you.
Peruby, i'm sorry things are so difficult right now. May you get those flowers and some other lovely color in your life, and know that i'll be praying for your SIL.
